Camilla and Ethne are enjoying their ice cream sandwiches.
It was fun to watch them lick and savor this wonderful treat.

Firework show
Kent and Jacob put on a great firework show. We will probably hire them next year too.
Its always fun to do the small ones in the back yard. This year was a good learning experience for all of us, Lets just say next year we will have a better idea of what kind of fireworks to get;-) When we watched the big fireworks in the front, we had three firework shows to choose from. They were coming from all different directions Kent said it probably sounded similar to the real thing "bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there." Then watching the American flag on the front porch swaying back and forth made it even more beautiful.

lovin the sparklers
I'm not sure Kent was able to hand them out fast enough for the kids.They all had a great time writing their names in the air. Doing sparklers takes us all back to when we were kids. I remember being terrified. I'm not sure I ever got over it until I was an adult:-)

Good friends

Lots of good friends and fun. I think one of my favorite parts was these cute patriotic chairs.
Envious
Mary is taking a dip in the pool I think we are all very envious. It's hot and humid in July.
4th of july at the Wilsons
We all watched a wonderful firework show in the Wilson's back yard. At about 10 o'clock we all went to the front yard and watched the big ones. They were all so beautiful! As you can see Addie and Camila covered there ears because of the loud fireworks. Everyone had a great time.
Sydney needed some cleaning up. Dads are good for stuff like that;-)
Summer Camp
In June Ethne was able to go to day camp with the YMCA. It was four days long. She had a great time. They had horse back riding, swimming, and hiking. This is her teacher standing next to her.
Mine is the biggest one on the end!
They all look great! For some reason the fish were biting Tuesday. Maybe they just stocked the lake or something. After we arrived home we fillet them, and cooked em up, and ate some. It was yummy. Fresh catfish tastes a lot different than store bought. Its not so fishy.
We had a great time Tuesday night fishing with our good friends the Wilsons. It was their first time fishing. What an experience!
